Seasons in Australia are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere, with summer from December through February, and winter from June through August.

Best time of year to visit

Full of iconic African wildlife, the Kruger and famous Sabi Sands, Marataba Safari Lodge and Lion Sands are perfect spots - especially for a first-time luxury safari.  



South Africa

The best time to visit South Africa to go on safari is the dry season, from May to October. The grass is low, visibility is better and the dry conditions mean you'll find more wildlife congregating around the watering holes.

Best time of year to visit

Spring (April-May) and Fall (September-October) are the best times to visit Italy in order to enjoy the outdoors in pleasant weather with fewer crowds, especially in the main destinations like Rome, Florence, and Venice. These months offer the best balance between fewer tourist crowds and cheaper rates.

Join a host at her home on Ortygia Island and sip a glass of marsala while she cooks fresh Sicilian specialties.
Zoom down the powder-perfect runs of the Marmolada Massif, the highest peak of the Dolomites, before heading to a rifugio (an Italian mountain hut) to eat house-made spinach ravioli or hearty lamb and polenta.

Greece has one of the longest coastlines in the world, half of which fringes thousands of islands. It is home to marvellous monuments and UNESCO heritage sites. Known for their crystal clear waters, ridiculously delicious food and drink, breathtaking landscapes, vibrant nightlife and endless romance.

Hawaii is incredibly pleasant throughout the year so there really is not a  'bad' time to visit.  The off season, when the best rates are available and the islands are less crowded, is late spring (mid-April to early June) and fall (September to mid-December).

Explore sugary beaches, vibrant coral reefs, active volcanoes, dramatic coastlines, Forested hiking trails that lead to hidden waterfalls. Hawaii has everything you can possibly imagine. 

Cycle and discover Maui’s “House of the Sun” at Haleakala.
Stroll along Waianapanapa State Park, aka Black Sand Beach.
Enjoy a spearfishing expedition off the turquoise jeweled waters of Oahu from a privately chartered yacht.
Visit the Forbidden Island, the oldest of the islands where locals still speak Hawaiian while fishing and hunting in traditional ways.

The best time to visit is late spring (May) and fall (Sept-Oct). It’s pleasant, with comfortable weather, no rain, and smaller crowds (except during holiday weekends).
